The election of the Pakistan Tennis Federation is most likely to be won by the panel of Saleem Saifullah Khan, said the panel’s spokesperson on Saturday. It receives popular support of different federations as well as current and former players. Spokesperson Ayaz Khalil, who is also the secretary of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Tennis Association, said Saleem Saifullah’s panel enjoyed the support of all four provinces as well as FATA and Islamabad. Khalil added Saifullah’s nomination as president of the federation without any opposition was expected. General Khalid Rehmani is also a strong contender for the slot of the secretary of the union.
