Sit-ins in Islamabad: Imran says he can’t trust PM Nawaz
PTI chief believes this Eid in Islamabad will be the best in his life

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Friday said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will probably renege on his promise to investigate rigging claims in the May 2013 elections even if his party decides to wind up its sit-in.
Addressing his supporters at the Constitution Avenue on Friday, he said there were many people who told him that people would be exhausted or would not come to the sit-in on Eid days. “However, I believe that this Eid in Islamabad will be the best Eid in my life,” he said.
The PTI chief said he would collect Rs100 fees from all who come to his containers and give him suggestions to wind up the sit-in. “I will wind up the sit only after taking the PM Nawaz’s resignation.”
The PTI chief said they had started facing shortage of funds on the tenth day of the sit-in. “But since then people have donated millions of rupees on daily basis,” he added.
Imran said his Mianwali rally had mobilised the women of Pakistan which was a good sign for democracy. “If women awake then no one can stop the arising of a New Pakistan,” he said.
Imran told the audience that the PTI had started finalising its candidates for election and had selected 200 candidates. “The PTI’s candidates will bring the revolution in the destiny of the country,” he claimed.
He said that Imran Khan is the only person who can take a stand against corrupt politicians.
Meanwhile, PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri asked his workers from Faisalabad, Gujranwala and Karachi to go back to their homes and to prepare for the party’s upcoming public gatherings in their cities.
He said the PAT will take out a big public rally in Karachi after Moharram. “The PAT will change the current system of Pakistan through political process,” he said, adding that negotiations with the government had not been finalised.
