Eid with family: People leave for hometowns
An estimated six million people would leave the city by Sunday

A large number of people left the city on Friday, the last working day before Eid, to celebrate the festivity with their families. Queues of people were seen at bus stands at Lorry Adda, Yateem Khana Chowk and Thokar Niaz Beg and the railway station. City government officials said eight committees had been formed to check overcharging by transporters. They said an estimated six million people would leave the city by Sunday.
