Missing infant: Lady Willingdon MS, his deputy summoned
Court summons medical superintendent and deputy medical superintendent
LAHORE:
Additional District and Sessions Judge Shahida Saeed on Thursday sought comments from Tibbi City police on a petition seeking recovery of a newborn from the administration of Lady Willingdon Hospital.
The court summoned the medical superintendent (MS) and deputy medical superintendent on Friday (today).
Muhammad Asif had filed the petition accusing the hospital’s administration of having detained his eight-day-old son.
He said he had taken his wife to the hospital for delivery. He said his wife had died while giving birth to a baby boy. He said it appeared that the hospital management had sold his son.
He requested the court to order recovery of the child.
