A gas pipeline was blown up by militants in the Zain Bugti area of Dera Bugti on Tuesday, suspending gas supply from Well no 10 to the Sui plant in the area.
The banned Baloch Republican Army claimed responsibility for the attack, and its spokesperson vowed to continue targeting gas pipelines and security forces in Dera Bugti.
According to police, militants planted explosive materials beneath the 8-inch gas pipeline and detonated it.
Law enforcing agencies have begun investigations into the incident, while repairs on the damaged pipeline have also been initiated.
