Domestic Violence: Woman ‘poisoned to death’ by husband
The police registered a case against the suspects and investigation is under way.
RAWALPINDI:
A woman was allegedly poisoned to death by her husband and in-laws in Chauntra. Baaz Ali, a native of District Kasur, lodged a complaint with the local police that his son-in-law, Arshad, along with his family, had poisoned and killed his daughter over a domestic issue. Soon after her marriage, the couple had developed differences and the deceased woman had left her husband’s house several times over the same issue. He suspected that Arshad had mixed poison in her food. The woman’s body was taken to the District Headquarters Hospital for post-mortem. The police registered a case against the suspects and investigation is under way.
