Senate chairman constitutes committee to review ICT framework, administrative system
Bokhari consults leader of the opposition in the House and Leader of the Opposition in the Senate .
ISLAMABAD:
Senate Chairman Syed Nayyer Hussain Bokhari on Monday constituted a committee to review the constitutional, legal and administrative system in capital territory and framework for Islamabad Capital Territory.
Bokhari consulted Leader of the Opposition in the House Raja Muhammad Zafarul Haq and Leader of the Opposition in the Senate Aitzaz Ahsan before constituting the committee under Rule 204 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in Senate, 2012.
The Senate chairman will preside over the meeting whereas Haq, Ahsan, Dr Saeeda Iqbal, Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana, Col ( retd) Syed Tahir Hussain Mashhadi, Zafar Ali Shah, Muhammad Mohsin Khan Leghari,, Farooq Hamid Naek, Mian Raza Rabbani, Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah, Afrasiab Khattak, Muhammad Daud Khan Achakzai, Advocate, Haji Ghulam Ali, Kalsoom Parveen, Hasil Khan Bizanjo, Abdul Rauf and Abbas Khan would be the members of the committee.
In addition to reviewing current practices, the committee will study prevalent systems of other countries and seek suggestions from committee members on legal, constitutional and administrative aspects.
A notification in this regard has also been issued.
