Nabbed: Militant commander arrested in Swat

Swat police have arrested an alleged militant commander during a raid in Matta tehsil on Saturday. According to the police, based on a tip-off, a house was raided in Piochar area of Matta tehsil. A militant commander from banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan was taken into custody. The detained militant has been identified as Amanullah. The militant commander was wanted by the police. He is said to have been involved in a series of attacks on government buildings in 2009 in which a large number of police personnel were killed.
