Deadly Feud: 2 killed, 6 injured in Faisalabad
The Harapa SHO said that police had arrested four suspects.
FAISALABAD:
Two men were shot dead by their rivals on Saturday and six others were injured in Thatha Jammu Dallu. According to Harapa police, members of Karmal group of Thatha Jammu Dallu had an old enmity with Bashir group of Thatha Muraad Dallu over the ownership of a piece of land. “On Saturday, members of the Karmal group were irrigating their land when their rivals from the Bashir group opened fire on them. Mazhar, son of Karmal, and Shafiq, son of Aalam Sher, died on the spot. Six other men were also injured,” police said. The injured were taken to Allied Hospital, Faisalabad, where the condition of one of them is stated to be critical. A police contingent, headed by Sahiwal District Police Officer (DPO) Syed Khurram Shehzad, visited the scene after the attack. The Harapa SHO said that police had arrested four suspects.
