Pildat analysis: Sindh Assembly outperforms
The assembly polled the highest percentage points of 69 out of 100
The Sindh Assembly has outperformed other provincial legislatures in the country, polling the highest percentage points of 69 out of 100, followed by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa at 67, according to the Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development (Pildat). Balochistan came in third place with 60 percentage points out of 100 and Punjab came in fourth place at 57 percentage points. On Friday, Pildat released a comparative performance analysis of the four provincial assemblies. Based on a comparative performance analysis of Pakistan’s provincial assemblies, Pildat Score Card evaluated each performance indicator on a scale of 1-10. Performance indicators included number of bills passed, timely formation of standing committees, working hours, working days, attendance of CM, attendance of opposition leader, budget session, and relations between treasury and opposition.
