“Pakistan is facing challenges that can be incredibly serious for them in the coming years and the government is not adequately addressing the issues,” said Donald Larry Sampler, assistant to the administrator in the office of Afghanistan and Pakistan Affairs. Sampler was speaking at a discussion on USAID’s strategy in Pakistan at Columbia University, New York, on Thursday. Larry Sampler mentioned that Pakistan have a malnutrition problem as over 50 per cent of students in the country’s schools suffer from diseases as a consequence of malnutrition.
