Punjab CM suspends SHO Multan for not apprehending rape suspect
The chief minister visited the victim's house in Multan, where he expressed his sympathies in regard to the situation.
The girl had been protesting with her family, including her mother, in front of the Multan Press Club. She said she was raped by an 18-year-old son of a land lord on September 18, and had registered an FIR against him but the police did not take any action.
During their protest, the victim and her mother had set themselves on fire, after which they were saved by journalists and civil society activists.
They chanted slogans against police and called on the government to take notice of the injustice.
Further, she had said policemen were claiming this was a family dispute.

What exactly does "suspended" means? I think it is a joke.
CM need to overhaul police system, suspending police officer is face saving measure....
So he is at it again,pulling the usual rabbit out of a hat trick and gimmick.Sir how about you suspend the system which prevented the SHO from apprehending the rapist?
