Aerial attack: JI condemns drone strike
Haq expressed grief over the loss of life and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured.
LAHORE:
Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) ameer Sirajul Haq on Wednesday condemned the drone strike in North Waziristan. In a statement he said such attacks violated Pakistan’s sovereignty. Haq said past governments had not taken effective action to stop the strikes. He said these could not be justified as the armed forces were already engaged in an operation against militants in North Waziristan. Haq expressed grief over the loss of life and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured.
