London meeting: If allegations proved, I’ll quit politics, says Sarwar
He also quashes speculations that he had tendered his resignation

Punjab Governor Chuadhry Sarwar has said that he will quit politics if it is proved that he had organised the Imran-Qadri meeting in London. Talking to a private news channel, Sarwar said he believes in politics of principles and has never been part of any conspiracy.
“I’ve been saddened by the statement of Javed Hashmi. I will quit politics if it is proved that I was involved in any such act otherwise Hashmi will either have to apologise or quit politics,” Sarwar said.
He also quashed speculations that he had tendered his resignation. “These are baseless rumours. I will return to Pakistan on September 24 and will go straight to the Governor House,” he said.
