KAMOKE:
Hundreds of flood-affected people on Saturday staged a protest demonstration and blocked the GT Road on Saturday in Kamoke. The protesters belonging to Nassoke, Shadi Khan and Wahndo said they had not received any aid from the government so far. They changed slogans against the Kamoke tehsil municipal administration and the local MPAs and MNA. The villages had been flooded with water from the Dek stream. The protesters parked their tractor-trolleys on both sides of the GT Road and blocked it for hours. A heavy contingent of police reached the area and negotiated with the protesters along with local lawmakers.
