Helping hands: LGH doctors in Narowal to help flood victims

Vohra appealed to overseas Pakistanis, particularly those who had studied at the PGMI, to donate for flood victims.

LAHORE:

A team of doctors, nurses and paramedical staff from the Lahore General Hospital (LGH) left for Narowal on Friday to provide medial assistance to the flood-affected people. Doctors having expertise in surgery and pediatrics will work voluntarily in the flood-hit areas.

Post Graduate Medical Institute and Lahore General Hospital Principal Anjam Habib Vohra said the LGH had rendered great services during the 2005 earthquake and 2010 floods. He urged philanthropists to help the calamity-hit people. He said the people of Pakistan had always donated for their countrymen in the testing times. Vohra appealed to overseas Pakistanis, particularly those who had studied at the PGMI, to donate for flood victims.
