DGs conference: NAB plans training academy for officers

LAHORE:
A two-day directors general (DGs) conference of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) opened here at the bureau’s headquarters. The conference held with NAB Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry in the chair discussed policy issues and performance of the last year. During the conference, it has been decided to set up two new regional NAB offices at Sukkur and Multan. It was decided to establish an Anti-Corruption Training Academy on the pattern of National Anti-Corruption Academy of Malaysia to enhance the abilities of the officers working in the bureau. The DG Awareness and Prevention informed the conference that the wing has engaged the masses in its efforts to curb corruption through the creation of character building societies.
