Assurance: CDA to address all business woes

ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Maroof Afzal has said that the civic authority will try to resolve all genuine problems of traders and industrialists to facilitate them in their endeavours to promote business activities. He said the CDA board had already approved a new policy for lease renewal, which would be applicable across the board, and hoped that the policy would facilitate the stakeholders. He was talking to a delegation of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), led by its President Shaban Khalid, which came to discuss the issues faced by the business community and offer proposals for their solution. Afzal said the CDA would give due consideration to the problems of businessmen including trade changes, multiple trades on a single plot, bifurcation of plots and increase in coverage area of industrial plots.
