Tourists from seven countries reach Khunjerab in rickshaws for 'Tuk Tuk Adventure'

For the first time, tourists from seven countries traveled to the Khunjerab Border in rickshaws, starting their journey from Islamabad.

This unique idea of traveling in rickshaws was proposed by a local tour company and named the "Tuk Tuk Adventure."

The tour company arranged 10 auto-rickshaws, and the journey began on 24th September from Islamabad.

Tour guide Abdul Rahim spoke to the media, explaining that special rickshaws were rented from Rawalpindi for the foreign tourists, which they drove themselves to reach Gilgit-Baltistan.

The tourists included people from Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Denmark, Ireland, and the United States.

All of them had valid international driving licenses. Due to the long journey in rickshaws, arrangements were made for the tourists to stay in Balakot, Batakundi, and Chilas.

Charlotte, a female tourist, mentioned that the journey to Gilgit-Baltistan was tough and exhausting, but traveling in a rickshaw made it memorable.

Group head Mark said that reaching here in rickshaws was a challenge, and they practiced driving rickshaws upon arriving in Pakistan.

Another female tourist, Angie Taylor, shared that the mesmerizing scenery was unmatched, with the snow-covered peaks making for stunning tourist destinations.
