Murder or accident?: Missing boy found dead from manhole

The body was later identified as Nisar Ahmad, a resident of Chak 111/P, Rahim Yar Khan.

BAHAWALPUR:
The body of an 11-year-old boy was found from a hostel of Shaikh Zayed Hospital late on Sunday night. He had gone missing from his home on Thursday. Police said they were alerted by passers by about the presence of a body in an open manhole of the hostel. They reached the area and took the body to the hospital for post mortem examination. The body was later identified as Nisar Ahmad, a resident of Chak 111/P, Rahim Yar Khan. His parents had registered a case with police, stating that Ahmad had gone to a nearby mosque to offer prayers, but did not return.
