#100HAPPYDAYS: Mike Tyson with former boxing world champion Amir Khan
Both boxers were at ringside for Floyd Mayweather’s match in Las Vegas
In the perfect depiction of the phrase ‘past meets present,’ boxing legend Mike Tyson is pictured with former boxing world champion Amir Khan. Both boxers were at ringside for Floyd Mayweather’s match in Las Vegas on Saturday. Amir, who had been vacationing in the United States earlier this year, initially had his US visa declined as he was about to fly to Las Vegas for the match. He made it just in time for the fight after intervention from his legal team.
Tyson, who retired from professional boxing in 2006, has made a successful career as a media personality after making cameo appearances in several films and television series, most notably in The Hangover franchise.
Meanwhile, Amir is gearing up for a fight scheduled on November 22, for which his opponent is yet to be announced. He took a break from training after he welcomed his first daughter this year. The break also gave him the opportunity to observe fasts during Ramazan.
