Short circuit: Elderly man dies in home fire
The victim was buried in a local graveyard after undergoing an autopsy.
CHAKWAL:
A 70-year-old man died after his home fire in Muhalla Jaffarabad, Chakwal, caught fire. The police and fire crews said that the victim, who could not be identified, was asleep in a room at his house when the fire is believed to have erupted, possibly due to a short-circuit. The police said that the victim died on the spot any identification based on the body would be difficult due to the extent of the burns. The victim was buried in a local graveyard after undergoing an autopsy.
