Medical assistance: At least 9,081 visit free health camps

Locals have requested the government to continue arranging free medical care for the agency.

PESHAWAR: FATA Health Directorate held free general health and eye camps in Mohmand Agency on Sunday. This was done to facilitate the community by providing health care facilities at their doorstep. The camps were arranged on the directives of K-P Governor Sardar Mehtab Khan Abbasi. A team of qualified medical professionals examined a total of 9,081 patients residing in areas of Had Kor, Ambar, Mohamad Gat, Baizai and Pandiali tehsils. At least 694 patients were provided diagnostic facilities while 142 patients availed free radiology tests. Doctors also operated on 37 eye patients while 362 were given free spectacles and medicines. Similar camps were also held on Saturday. Locals have requested the government to continue arranging free medical care for the agency.
