Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) officials said on Friday that the national flag-carrier had ferried 23,000 pilgrims in 63 flights to Saudi Arabia as part of the ongoing Hajj operation. They said the flights were on schedule. PIA has ferried 3,479 pilgrims from Karachi onboard 11 flights, 4,880 pilgrims from Lahore on 11 flights, 4,787 pilgrims from Islamabad on 10 flights, 3,881 pilgrims from Quetta on 13 flights, 3,775 pilgrims from Peshawar on 12 flights, 974 pilgrims from Multan on three flights and 1,498 pilgrims from Sialkot on three flights to Saudi Arabia.
