Dismal standards: ‘Govt has ruined health services’
She said citizens were dying in hospitals due to lack of doctors and medicines.

Provincial Assembly Member (MPA) Khadija Farooqi on Wednesday submitted an adjournment motion over reports that four infants had died at the Vehari district headquarters hospital. She said the matter should be probed transparently as parents of the deceased had blamed medical negligence for causing the deaths. Farooqi said those ruling the Punjab had wreaked havoc on the provision of health services in the last six years. She was speaking to journalists. Farooqi said the Health Department had 7,200 posts lying vacant. She said citizens were dying in hospitals due to lack of doctors and medicines.
