ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences is on high alert to treat people who are contracting various diseases due to the ongoing rain spell in the federal capital. According to the hospital’s spokesman Dr Wasim Khawaja, all arrangements are in place at the hospital to deal with any untoward situation with sufficient stocks of medicines. On the directive of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Medical University Vice-Chancellor Prof Javed Akram, a qualified team of medical and para-medical staff has been working in the emergency department round the clock.
