Developing linkages: Trade seminar held in Japan
This was the first of a series of trade seminars organised to develop linkages between Pakistan and Japan
TOKYO:
Embassy of Pakistan organised a trade seminar in collaboration with the Saitama Industrial Development Corporation (SIDC), Federation of Saitama Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSCCI), JETRO and METI in the SIDC building in Saitama. This was the first of a series of trade seminars being organised in Japan in order to develop linkages between the Pakistani and Japanese business communities. SIDC Chairman Hidejiro Akiyama thanked the ambassador for selecting Saitama as the first destination, as it contains the maximum concentration of Pakistanis. He informed that the SIDC is aiming to develop next generation industries, development of the life-support industry and support of Small and Medium Enterprises’ expansion.
