For greater good: Shahbaz says PTI sit-in untimely
Chief minister said that he wanted to ask Imran Khan to postpone the sit-in and accompany him for helping the people
LAHORE:
Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday appealed to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief Imran Khan to postpone “the dance and music programme” in Islamabad in view of the loss of life and devastation caused by floods in the Punjab.
Addressing a public meeting near Chiniot, the chief minister said that he wanted to ask Imran Khan to postpone the sit-in and accompany him for helping the people of the Punjab. He added, however, as a politician, who did not allow a chief minister of his own party to leave the sit-in after heavy rains hit Peshawar, Khan was unlikely to heed the appeal.
