Safe city Islamabad: NADRA denies illegal procurement
Nadra clarifies it has been following public procurement rules and acting within parameters

The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has denied making any illegal procurement regarding the Safe City Islamabad project. In an official statement, released in response to a letter issued by Transparency International Pakistan, the authority clarified that it had been following Public Procurement Rules and acting within the parameters of the Supreme Court judgement with regards to the project. “No illegal procurement has been made by Nadra with regards to Safe City Islamabad Project. The re-initiation of the procurement process was resumed in light of Supreme Court Judgment CP 91 of 2012,” the Nadra statement said.
