Spirited Defence: CM visits Martyrs’ Memorial at Batapur
Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday visited the Martyrs’ Monument at Batapur on Defence Day.

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday visited the Martyrs’ Monument at Batapur on Defence Day. He placed a floral wreath on the monument and offered fateha. Sharif said the national army had authored a new chapter in the history of military warfare with its heroic defence of the country during the 1965 Pakistan-India war. He said there was a need to revive the uniting spirit of 1965. He said the public should pledge to unite and defend the territorial integrity of Pakistan.
