Three terrorists arrested in Islamabad

As part of a crackdown on anti-state elements, the Islamabad police arrested three terrorists and recovered explosives from them on Monday.

The police team headed by Margala SHO Inspector Mohammad Hussain Lasi arrested the suspected terrorists. The terrorists identified as Shafeeq-ur Rehman alias Adam, Abdul Qayyum alias Mufti and Ghulam Mustafa belonged to the Tehrik-e- Taliban and Al Qaeda.
During preliminary investigations, the terrorists revealed that they were planning to target a shopping mall and a market in Islamabad.
