Chief justice: Balochistan’s new top judge takes oath
Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mengal confirmed as judge of Balochistan High Court
QUETTA:
Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mengal took oath as Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court at Governor House Quetta on Friday. Governor Balochistan Mohammed Khan Achakzai administered the oath to the new Chief Justice of Balochistan. Balochistan CM Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and provincial ministers, lawyers and judges attended the ceremony. Justice Mengal was confirmed as judge of BHC on May 11, 2011. He was appointed as head of the inquiry tribunal twice to investigate the killings which took place on January 15, 2010, in Khuzdar city and at Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology, Khuzdar on March 3, 2010.
