Police recover bottles of liquor and weapons from their possession in various parts of the city
RAWALPINDI:
Rawalpindi police arrested 13 suspects and recovered bottles of liquor and weapons from their possession in various parts of the city on Thursday.
The police also busted an illegal gas filling racket in the precincts of Airport Police Station and arrested four suspects.
According to police spokesman, Ganjmandi police arrested Azeem in possession of 15 bottles of liquor while Kotli Sattian police arrested Kamran and recovered a bottle of liquor from his possession.
Naseerabad police held Rashid Qayyum and recovered a 30-bore pistol along with four rounds from his possession. The same police recovered a 30-bore pistol along with four rounds from Muhammad Aqeel.
Kotli Sattian police arrested Israr in possession of a 30-bore pistol and three rounds. Airport police busted an illegal gas filling racket and seized the filling equipment.
The accused have been identified as Jan Muhammad, Luqman, Bilal and Muhammad Younas. Police has registered separate cases against all of them and further investigation is under way.
