Targeted”: Attempt to blow up BHU facility foiled
The police have filed a case against unidentified militants.

A high-intensity bomb was defused early morning on Thursday, foiling an attempt to blow up a health facility. A Miryan police official said the bomb disposal unit (BDU) disabled a five kilogramme bomb planted inside Mandyokai basic health unit (BHU) by unidentified militants. The bomb was spotted by locals who informed the police after which the BDU was called in. BDU official Qismat Khan said device had been planted in the veranda of Mandyokai BHU and had been defused. Security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. The police have filed a case against unidentified militants.
