Inauguration: Empowering the unbanked

Tameer’s total outreach in Sind has reached to 61 locations

KARACHI:
Pakistan’s first scheduled and largest private sector microfinance bank Tameer formally inaugurated four new locations in Sindh. These new locations of Islamkot, Chor, Khipro and Tando Adam are a part of Tameer’s financial inclusion plan of empowering the unbanked across the country. Tameer President and CEO Nadeem Hussain said he was delighted to see Tameer extending outreach to the interior and remote areas. “Providing access to financial services is fundamental in developing an eco-system which supports development of people who are at the bottom of the pyramid,” said Hussain. With the inclusion of these new locations, Tameer’s total outreach in Sind has reached to 61 locations and a total outreach of more than 140 locations in Pakistan.
