ICAP: Event held for CAs

The event was largely attended by employers from different sectors, qualified CAs and trainee students.

KARACHI:

The Institute of Chartered Accountant of Pakistan (ICAP) organised a CA-Pakistan seminar and a job fair 2014 to provide chartered accountants and CA students a networking opportunity.

An ICAP official on Wednesday said the event held simultaneously at ICAP Houses (Karachi and Lahore) was largely attended by employers from different sectors, qualified CAs and trainee students so that the country’ potential could be better understood.

The seminar facilitated industry members to stay up to date on the latest changes in the modern corporate world and maintain a dialogue with industry professionals, said the ICAP official.

Speakers at the seminar, the official emphasised upon the key aspects of the present day’s workplace and also underlined the essentials that with increased competition qualified CAs will need a plan for the future.
