Ill Health: Inmate dies at Karachi Central Jail
A 40-year-old inmate identified as 40-year-old Ashraf died at Central Jail, Karachi
KARACHI:
A 40-year-old inmate identified as 40-year-old Ashraf died at Central Jail, Karachi, on Wednesday. Jail officials said that he was an asthmatic and died on the way to Civil Hospital, Karachi. He was arrested by the Surjani police a few months ago in a murder case and an FIR No. 200/14 under Section 302 was registered against him. Medico-legal officer at the hospital said that the deceased was brought dead to the hospital, adding that the cause of the death will be ascertained after the autopsy.
