Various Crimes: Police nab eight offenders
In an effort to arrest criminals at large, the police arrested two proclaimed offenders
ISLAMABAD:
The Islamabad Police on Wednesday arrested eight suspected criminals from various areas of the city and recovered one stolen car, a weapon and other stolen items from their possession, a police spokesman informed. The Ramna police arrested three thieves, including two women, identified as Imran, Nusrat and Gudan Bibi besides recovering stolen items and a 30-bore pistol from them. The police team also nabbed a suspected car thief, Nawab Ali Khan, and recovered a Honda City (LXO-848) from his possession which was reportedly stolen from Muslim Town, Lahore. The Sabzi Mandi police nabbed Nawab Ali Khan for possessing a 30-bore pistol while the Koral police apprehended Javed for possessing a stolen computer. Cases have been registered against the accused under the relevant sections and further investigations are under way.
