No FO advisory: Foreign mission closure denied
Govt has directed security agencies to protect diplomatic missions in Islamabad, says FO spokesperson
ISLAMABAD:
The Foreign Office said on Tuesday that it has neither received any advice from foreign embassies in Islamabad to close down operations nor has it issued any advice regarding closure of the foreign embassies. According to a statement issued by a Foreign Office spokesperson in Islamabad, the ministry clarified media reports on the closure of foreign embassies. “The government has directed security agencies to protect diplomatic missions in Islamabad,” he said.
