Three men were shot dead late on Monday night over old enmity in Chak 571-GB.
Lundianwala police said Rana Amjad, Ali Raza and Adnan Amin were returning from their outhouse, when members of the rival Mani group fired shots at them. “All of them died on the spot,” police said.
Jaranwala Superintendent Police (SP) Arif Shehbaz and Lundianwala Station House Officer (SHO) Muhammad Ayub Sahi reached the spot and sent the bodies to hospital for autopsy.
Talking to The Express Tribune, Sahi said that a case had been registered against Imran alias Mani, Abdullah, Aslam, Ramazan, Allah Ditta and Amanat Ali.
He said enmity had started eight years ago over a property dispute.
“Three members of the Mani group were shot dead. The Mani group has now murdered three rivals,” the police said.
