He also revealed that a PTI worker was killed in the morning today after being hit by a bullet.
Over 800 protesters broke into the PTV headquarters today but the Pakistan Army managed to get the situation under control and cleared the building pushing the protesters out.
Referring to the attack, the PTI chief condemned the incident and said that there was no justification for the attack.
“Whoever entered the PTV headquarters is not part of PTI,” he added.
Speaking about the clashes, Imran said that the government brought “other people” in police uniform to torture the protesters, referring to the impostors as Gullu Butts.
“PM Nawaz and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan will be punished for this,” he remarked.
“If people who are responsible for the clashes are not punished they will keep on carrying out such acts,” the party chief stated.
Even police decided today not to break any law, said Imran, thanking the police.
“Our country is being changed forever; very few Muslim nations can say that they are a true democracy and I hope Pakistan will be the first nation to become a true democracy,” he said.
“We did not ask the army to become the mediators or facilitators in the ongoing political crisis,” Imran added, referring to the controversy over who requested for army intervention.

@salman: So you are admitting that what Imran Khan is doing today by attacking the parliament and pm's house is at the same level as what PMLN did almost 20 years ago. What you are ignoring is the fact that PMLN has admitted its mistake and has shown by its actions that it now understands the sanctity of democratic institutions. And what you are ignoring is the fact that PMLN has more than repaid the nation for the attack on the Supreme Court almost 20 years ago - it has stood like a rock in support of the Supreme Court when it was under direct attack by Musharraf and also when Zardari tried to weaken it. Imran Khan's naya Pakistan" is nothing more than what Pakistan used to be 20 years ago - the Pakistan everyone (political parties, military, civil society, bar associations) except Imran Khan are determined to move away from.
@salman : Nobody forgot PMLN attack on Supreme Court, it's still a black mark for them, and will always be. Moreover, it took PMLN 15 years to recover from that slip, even though it was done in a different era of PK politics, when there was no electronic media. IK and his PTI don't have even half of that time left for them to bounce back. And after Javaid Hashmi's second press conference, IK is further exposed. He is finished now, whether fasadis like it or not.

I am ashamed of Mian Sahib who has acted like a coward. Order your armed forces to vacate Islamabad from these terrorists. If they don't follow orders, then resign and go home. It will prove that army is behind this drama and want to paralyze elected government. Next time Taliban will do the same, They will come in Islamabad unarmed and after occupying buildings they will arm themselves.

In a democracy, one becomes a leader by being voted in. Constitutionally the waiting period is another five years before the next elected government can rule. If you have any gripes with the Election commission then protest to change the way the commission is run. By bringing down an elected government by creating chaos will only create difficulties for newly elected governments in the future.
@Noumy: Inshallah Imran Khan's protests will be brought to an end and the nation will not be held hostage to mob rule. Why can't Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri be sensible and realise how the future will only see more violent mobs try to take over Islamabad every time people are not happy. How can anyone justify taking down a government with a few thousand violent protesters? Do majority voters not matter in the PTI view?
