House looted: Armed men rob teacher of valuables

The victims identified the robbers as Masiur Rehman and Arif from the same village and filed an FIR against them.

MANSEHRA: Armed men robbed a schoolteacher in a remote village in Garhi Habibullah, taking away valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees, the police said on Sunday. Garhi Habibullah police said Ghulam Mustafa, a resident of Sarla Bagla village, told them he was sleeping when somebody knocked at the gate in the early hours of Sunday. When he answered the door, two robbers barged inside and held the family hostage. The robbers  stole gold ornaments weighing 10 tolas, AED7,000, mobile phones and other valuables. When Mustafa and his son Babar attempted to  resist the robbery, they were assaulted and sustained injuries to the head; Mustafa also suffered a fractured leg. The victims identified the robbers as Masiur Rehman and Arif from the same village and filed an FIR against them.
