Pakistan were leading on the opening day with three players in the top 10.
KARACHI:
Defending champion Moizullah Baig slumped to 15th position with 11 wins and seven defeats on day two of the World Youth Scrabble Championship in Colombo on Saturday. It will be a herculean task for Moiz to successfully defend his title on the third and last day of the championship.
England’s Jack Durand continued to dominate the competition with 15 wins while Singapore’s Yong Jian Rong finished in second place with 14 wins.
