Moving up: UHS gets new examination controller
The government on Wednesday appointed Professor Noor Fatima controller of examinations of the University of Health Sciences (UHS).
A graduate of Allama Iqbal Medical College, Fatima has served as professor and head of the Community Medicine Department at Fatima Memorial Hospital College of Medicine and Dentistry.
She did her FCPS in community medicine in 2001 and got the FFHPE degree in medical education from FAIMER Institute, Philadelphia, USA, in 2008. In 2009, she was awarded the Executive Endeavour Award for advance professional development in medical education by Commonwealth, Australia.
She recently completed her masters’ in Health Professions Education from Maastricht, Netherlands.
During her academic life, she won several distinctions and gold medals for exceptional performance.
Fatima has more than 25 years of teaching experience at various medical institutions of the country. She is also among visiting faculty of Brookdale University Hospital, Brooklyn, New York, USA.
Fatima has 14 research publications to her credit.
