Handling shortage: ‘Water line in Gharo being expanded’

The water supply line is being expanded in view of the growing population of Gharo and Dhabeji and the prevalent water shortage, said Karamuddin Panhyar, the assistant commissioner and Mirpur Sakro Taluka Municipal Authority administrator on Tuesday. While talking to the media, he said that he has taken notice of complaints about water shortage, adding that water supply was suspended for a few days in the area but has been restored. He instructed town officers to disconnect the illegal water supply lines linked to factories and agriculture farms. He also ordered to review the drainage system in the area.
