Shot dead: Two suspected militants killed
The encounter took place at Sumera Chowk near Super Highway within the limits of the Sacchal police station.

Two suspected members of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan were killed as they tried to escape after attacking a police van on Tuesday evening.
The encounter took place at Sumera Chowk near Super Highway within the limits of the Sacchal police station. DSP Qamar Ahmed claimed that the two young men were on a motorcycle and were intercepted during snap-checking. They opened fire at a police mobile and tried to escape. The officer claimed that during the brief encounter, both the suspects were killed in an exchange of fire. The bodies were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where the suspects were identified as Saifur Rehman alias Masher and Jahangir alias Jangju. DSP Ahmed claimed that the suspects belonged to TTP's Mehsud group.
