Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested nine people and recovered narcotics and weapons from them. A police spokesman said Javed Masih, Muhammad Asghar, Najamul Hassan, Amanat Hassan, Muhammad Omar, Ayyub Khan, Ali Hassan and Kamran were arrested and 500 grams heroin, 25 bottles of liquor, three pistols, a gun and a rifle were recovered from their possession.
