Ingredients

Salt 3/4tbsp

Black pepper 1/4tbsp

Cayenne pepper 1/4tsp

Paprika 1/8 tsp

Garlic powder 1/4tsp

Onion powder 1/8 tsp

Dried thyme 1/4tsp

Dried parsley 1/4tsp

Butter 2 tbsp

Boneless, skinless chicken breast halves 4


Olive oil 1 tbsp

Garlic powder 2 tsp

Lime juice 3 tbsp

Method:

Step 1: Mix salt, black pepper, cayenne, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme and parsley in a small bowl.

Step 2: Rub the spice mixture on both sides of the chicken breasts and leave them for marination.

Step 3: Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the chicken until golden brown.

Step 4: Add garlic powder and one teaspoon of lime juice for richer flavour.

Step 5: Cook the chicken for another five minutes while and garnish the dish as you please.

Note:  The dish can be served with rice, salad or your favourite vegetables on the side.
