Progress: DDC approves 10 development schemes
Schemes valued at an estimated cost of Rs27 million each
SARGODHA:
Sargodha’s District Development Committee (DDC) has approved 10 development schemes at an estimated cost of Rs27 million. The decision was taken in a meeting presided over by District Coordination Officer Saqib Manaan along with other relevant departmental officials. The meeting approved the provision of filtered water for the Nawaz Sharif Degree College at an estimated cost of Rs2.3 million, establishment of a centre for disabled children at four canals in Rehmatul Alemin Park at a cost of Rs9.5 million, renovation of Additional Superintendent of Police house at a cost of Rs0.6 million, construction of a road from Kotmomin-Bhabra bypass to Abbadi Allah Baksh at a cost of Rs1.8 million and rehabilitation of a road from Chak 34 NB to Chak 37 NB. The meeting also approved installation of a tracking system at the rural health centre, while various other projects were approved in the meeting.
