KARACHI: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will hold a meeting to witness the moon for the Islamic month of Ziquad 1435 Hijri at the office of the meteorological department, the Met Complex, on Tuesday. The committee, headed by chairperson Mufti Munibur Rehman, will hold the meeting after Asr prayers and will use updated technology to sight the moon. In a statement on Monday, Abdur Razaq Naqshbandi, the chairman’s assistant, also invited the general public to participate in the exercise by communicating reliable relevant information in accordance with Sharia principles.
